ANDROID · CLIENT-ONLY TEST RELEASE

Your configuration.
Your chosen server.

AnguVPN is an independent Android client using the official open-source WireGuard tunnel library. Bring your own trusted, compatible server and private client .conf.

0.1.0 · Android 7.0+ (API 24) · Debug/testing · 15,496,839 bytes

No servers, countries, keys or VPN subscription are supplied.

01

Import privately

Import a valid WireGuard client .conf using Android’s file picker. One local profile is encrypted using Android Keystore AES-GCM; edit and delete controls are included.

02

Approve Android consent

The app requests VPN permission and starts the actual userspace tunnel engine with a foreground controller. Your configured server must be reachable.

03

Read actual status

Interface state, peer handshake age and transfer counters come from the backend. Interface UP or a handshake does not prove all traffic is protected or internet is available.

BEFORE INSTALLING

A real client implementation. Not a provided VPN service.

This website is a product/download page, not a VPN endpoint. Obtain your own authorized WireGuard server and complete client configuration privately. Do not upload or paste private keys into this website or chat.

  • Required: Android 7.0+, your own compatible server and valid client .conf, and Android VPN consent. No server/provider signup is performed by the app.
  • Automated checks: clean offline APK build succeeded; 15 JVM configuration/policy tests passed; lint found no issues, with one documented configured-VPN foreground-service exemption suppression.
  • Not yet device/tunnel tested: no phone/emulator launch, Keystore roundtrip, real server handshake, routing, DNS/IPv6 leak or disconnect test has been performed. Test these before relying on it.
  • No promises invented: no supplied countries, speed claim, ad blocker, kill switch, auto-reconnect, boot start or always-on feature.

DNS remains your choice

Imported DNS and routing are respected. There is no automatic Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 override: changing DNS without checking routes can break service or leak queries. Configure it with your trusted server/provider and test it. Split routes or missing DNS may use ordinary network paths.

Install thoughtfully

This is a debug-signed test APK, not a production/app-store release. Review Android installation prompts; do not disable Play Protect or bypass warnings. It requests INTERNET and foreground-service permissions, plus Android’s VPN consent—not location, camera, microphone or storage access.

A running tunnel can continue after closing the app; disconnect in the app or notification. Android can stop it; ordinary traffic may then resume. No kill-switch guarantee is made.

Integrity, complete source & licences

Complete Android Studio source ZIP (78,587 bytes), including wrapper, source, resources, tests, notices and actual verification status. No server profile, private keys or signing keys are included.

WireGuard tunnel library: Apache 2.0; wireguard-go: MIT; Go components: BSD; AndroidX/Kotlin: Apache 2.0; desugared OpenJDK components: GPLv2 with Classpath Exception. Full notices are included in the APK and source, with an in-app viewer. This independent client does not imply WireGuard endorsement.

PRIVACY & LIMITS

Keep configuration secrets private.

The app itself has no analytics backend or account service and does not send imported keys to an ANGUTEK service. Your selected VPN/DNS, keyboard, file provider and OS have their own policies. Upstream/system diagnostics may include endpoint hosts and status; this is not a no-logs or anonymity guarantee.

Saved profile ciphertext is stored in app-private no-backup storage with an Android Keystore key. Decrypted keys exist temporarily in memory, and your original imported file remains with its provider. Delete removes the app’s local profile, not the original file. Screenshots and editor-state saving are blocked, but a compromised device/keyboard is outside these protections.

Encryption-at-rest implementation, VPN runtime effectiveness, server trust and leak resistance require real-device testing. There is no claim that this early test app makes every connection safe or private.
